Job Description
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for warehouse operations, order fulfillment, inventory handling, and delivery support. Duties include picking and packing orders, receiving and stocking materials, unloading trucks, and assisting with deliveries of HVAC, plumbing, lighting, appliance, and construction-related products.
This role requires working in various weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials
- Assist drivers with deliveries and unloading trucks
- Handle HVAC, plumbing, lighting, appliance, and construction materials
- Operate sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Read and follow work orders and pick tickets
- Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and material movement
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 months of recent, consecutive warehouse experience
- Sit-down forklift experience
- Cherry picker experience
- Ability to work at heights of 12-15 feet and use rolling ladders
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift 55-75 lbs regularly
- Ability to bend, twist, pull, stand, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to read and understand work orders and pick tickets
Preferred Qualifications
- Warehouse operations experience (shipping, receiving, inventory, delivery)
- Product knowledge or the ability to learn quickly
- Previous material handling experience
