Currently hiring a skilled Shipper/Receiver for a stable 1st shift job opportunity offering FULL TIME hours, WEEKLY PAY, and company BENEFITS. This role requires proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift and experience in shipping and palletizing. Must have the experience and ability to work with a tape measure. Responsibilities
+ Operate a sit-down forklift to load steel plates onto trucks for shipping.
+ Follow customer orders accurately in the shipping process.
+ Palletize products and transport them throughout the shipping department.
+ Read and measure using a tape measure, including converting fractions to decimals and vice versa.
+ Ensure accurate packaging of products in correctly sized boxes or containers.
+ Complete necessary shipping paperwork and bills.
+ Measure steel plates and grind and deburr imperfections.
+ Keep bench and work area clean and organized.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ years of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
+ Experience in shipping and palletizing.
+ Ability to read and measure using a tape measure up to 1/32 inch.
+ Ability to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.
+ Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to read instructions, drawings, and prints accurately.
+ Proficiency with measuring tools such as rulers, tapes, and micrometers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chester Springs, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
