Starting pay range: $24 Per Hour.
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Associate / Backup Delivery Driver is primarily responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, preparing, storing, and moving company products and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
This position will also provide support for our full-time delivery driver as needed, including loading and unloading products, operating company vehicles, and making deliveries to designated locations.
The primary focus of this position is warehouse operations, with driving responsibilities assigned based on business needs.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES – WAREHOUSE:
- Receive, inspect, organize, and properly store products and materials.
- Prepare and stage products for daily deliveries and shipments.
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
- Move products throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment and safe handling practices.
- Maintain accurate organization and inventory of warehouse products.
- Put products away in designated storage locations.
- Assist with receiving and shipping activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with company standards.
- Follow established warehouse procedures, safety requirements, and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and product organization as needed.
- Identify and communicate damaged, missing, or incorrectly received products.
- Work with warehouse team members and management to meet daily operational and delivery deadlines.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
DELIVERY DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide delivery driver support when needed based on business and staffing requirements.
- Drive company vehicles to designated delivery locations.
- Safely load and secure products for delivery.
- Verify products and delivery materials before departing the warehouse.
- Unload products at customer, distribution center, or designated drop-off locations.
- Complete required delivery documentation and daily vehicle/logbook records.
- Follow all company driving, vehicle safety, and delivery procedures.
- Report delivery issues, vehicle concerns, or product discrepancies to management.
- Assist with loading and unloading at the warehouse and delivery locations.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or material-handling experience required; experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
- Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred.
- Valid Class C driver's license required.
- Clean and acceptable driving records.
- Ability to regularly lift and move products weighing 50+ pounds.
- Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic organizational, prioritizing, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
