Our career opportunity is for a versatile person to fulfill dual roles of dispatching, route management for 2-4 delivery drivers daily and assisting with warehouse duties such as stocking, pulling, order fulfillment, inventory, loading/unloading trucks - all pieces are automotive parts. You will work within the landscape of the auto dealership. We are located in San Antonio @ 12300 San Pedro Ave. San Antonio Texas 78216 . This is an immediate hire opportunity for the right candidate.

Compensation: $19/hr. Potential for growth opportunities down the road.

Schedule: Monday to Friday | Hours: 8 am to 5:00 pm, with potential Overtime and including one hour lunch.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Parts Director, this position will Dispatch auto parts delivery drivers on-time, manage/monitor deliveries/pick-ups to ensure on-time and successful delivery execution for each order, data entry, inventory, pull/stock parts orders, engage in driver communication and other duties as needed.

Job duties & functions include:

• Entering order information with utmost accuracy

• Assists with stocking/pulling auto parts

• Dispatching two to four delivery drivers for order pick-ups and/or part returns

• Performs invoice research as requested by the customer

• General housekeeping tasks as required

• Follow all safety codes and maintains safe and clean working area

• Performing all additional duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass Background and Drug Screen

• High school diploma or GED

• Prefer at least one year of dispatching experience - previous automotive experience preferred

• Must be comfortable on a computer and proficient with Microsoft products

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Strong organizational, multitasking and attention to detail skills

• Operates with sense of teamwork

• Strong work ethic

• On-time attendance and dependability are a must
