Warehouse Associate
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time | 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with flexibility to stay later as needed
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate to join a warehouse and distribution team in Alpharetta, GA.
This is a hands-on position involving shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, inventory management, and material handling. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Candidates must be flexible with their daily end time, as employees are expected to stay until all scheduled outgoing orders and shipments are completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and verify product quantities
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Load outgoing shipments and stage materials for delivery
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products for accuracy and quality
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counting, kitting, and stock organization
- Verify product numbers, quantities, and shipping information
- Move, organize, and stock inventory throughout the warehouse
- Complete basic computer data entry and shipping paperwork
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely
- Assist with forklift operations when trained and authorized
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
- Work with team members to complete daily shipping and production goals
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, packing, or material handling experience preferred
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing physical work throughout the shift
- Comfortable using rolling ladders and warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn inventory systems
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Willingness to stay beyond the scheduled end time when necessary to complete daily shipments
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Pay & Schedule
$17.00 per hour
Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
This position requires flexibility to work beyond 4:00 PM when needed. The workday ends once required outgoing orders and shipments have been completed.
