Warehouse Associate
Shift: 1st, (9 AM-5:30 PM)
Pay: $20/hr.
We are seeking dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associates to join our non-processing team. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position working with metal products in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Job Description:
- Package metal bars according to customer orders.
- Work as part of a team to break open metal bundles and pull the required number of bars.
- Operate shrink-wrap equipment to prepare orders for shipment.
- Sort and stage completed orders for delivery.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Organize warehouse inventory and restock materials.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Utilize saws and measuring devices for proper cutting of metal.
- Read and use rulers, calipers, and micrometers accurately.
- Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly (continuous lifting of approximately 60 lbs.).
- Material handling and packaging experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Experience using calipers and micrometers preferred.
- Forklift and/or standing side loader experience is a plus.
