Warehouse Associate 1st Shift

Responsibilities Operate material handling equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, hand truck) to unload/load trucks and move materials throughout the facility. Package various items, for safe storage and shipping, using a variety of materials (foam, shrink wrap, cardboard, wood, scarp materials).

 We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Associate to join our client’s team in Fountain Inn, SC. Responsibilities

•      Operate material handling equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, hand truck) to unload/load trucks and move materials throughout the facility
•      Package various items, for safe storage and shipping, using a variety of materials (foam, shrink wrap, cardboard, wood, scarp materials)
•      Identify, count, sort, measure, quality check and kit items using various drawings, pictures, lists.
•      Read and understand a tape measure and use mathematic skills
•      Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
•      Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields (including forklift experience)
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask 
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Efficiently work independently and as part a team
• Candidate must be self-motivated and eager to learn new things

Shift:  1st shift Monday-Thursday from 6:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Fridays 6:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Overtime depends on business needs.Pay: $16.00-$17.00/hr DOE
