Warehouse Assistant – Temporary

Pay: $15.00–$20.00 per hour
Job Type: Temporary, 4–6 Weeks
Schedule: 4 Hours Per Day, Monday–Friday
Flexible Hours: Any 4-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable Temporary Warehouse Assistant to help with the setup and preparation of a blood drive. This position will primarily involve moving, lifting, and organizing boxes of T-shirts and other supplies. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable of handling boxes weighing approximately 50 lbs., and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Move and transport boxes weighing approximately 50 lbs.
• Load, unload, and organize T-shirt boxes and other event supplies.
• Move supplies to designated areas as needed.
• Assist with organizing and preparing materials for the blood drive.
• Keep supplies organized and work areas clean.
• Follow safety procedures when lifting and moving materials.
• Assist with other general labor duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to lift and move approximately 50 lbs. repeatedly as needed.
• Comfortable with physical labor and being on your feet for extended periods.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to safety and organization.
• Previous warehouse, material handling, or general labor experience is helpful but not required.

Schedule

• 4 hours per day
• Must work 4 hours at any point between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• 4–6 week temporary assignment
• Flexible scheduling within the 8:00 AM–5:00 PM window

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing approximately 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying.
• Ability to safely move and organize materials throughout the work area.
