Hours: Full-time position with 40+ hours per week
Perform tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Record the receipt, storage, and dispatch of merchandise.
Follow all processes and safety, handling, and cargo packaging procedures.
Inspect all cargo received at the warehouse and apply security tape prior to dispatch.
Supervise the proper packaging and loading of cargo for shipment to its destination.
Keep inventory records and systems up to date.
Report any stock discrepancies.
Manage shipping documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, manifests, etc.
Send reports of dispatched cargo to the appropriate individuals or companies.
Keep the warehouse area organized and clean.
Organize, direct, and evaluate package pickup personnel assigned to routes.
Ensure the proper use and care of equipment and vehicles assigned to the Operations Department.
Prepare monthly reports as requested by the Warehouse Manager.
Demonstrated leadership, good communication skills, and strong organizational abilities.
Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in warehouses, storage facilities, or distribution centers.
Experience with receiving, storage, picking, packing, pick-up, shipping/dispatch, and inventory control.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel for inventory management.
Completion of high school or equivalent education (high school diploma or equivalent).
