Warehouse and Materials Specialist (Parts Clerk) - KC, on-call ($20-24/hr)

HiFyve is hiring a Warehouse and Materials Specialist (Parts Clerk) for a Food Processing Equipment Manufacturer!

Pay: $20–24/hr depending on experience

Schedule: Full-time, on-site; on-call availability required

Location: Kansas City, MO (Northland / KCI area)

Role Overview

Supports the parts and service operation of an industrial food processing equipment manufacturer. Receives, stores, picks, and ships replacement parts and materials so field service teams and customers get what they need on time, including after-hours requests while on call.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive incoming parts and materials; verify against packing lists and purchase orders
• Stock, label, and organize inventory in the warehouse and parts room
• Pick, pack, and ship parts orders for customers and field service technicians
• Process parts transactions and maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system
• Support cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
• Coordinate with service, engineering, and purchasing on part availability and urgent orders
• Take on-call rotation to handle urgent or after-hours parts needs
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Prior experience in parts, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or materials handling (industrial or equipment setting preferred)
• Accurate data entry and computer skills; ERP or inventory system experience preferred
• Able to read part numbers, drawings, and technical documentation
• Forklift experience a plus
• Reliable, organized, and responsive to urgent requests

Other Requirements

• Willing to be on call
• Able to lift and move parts and materials as needed
