Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator

This full-time Monday-through-Friday position will independently manage the warehouse receive and track orders maintain accurate inventory records organize materials and stage parts for projects service calls and pre-fabrication work with training provided on the companys parts and inventory system. Success in this role requires strong organization attention to detail clear communication self-direction and the ability to manage competing priorities in a hands-on warehouse environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming orders verify them against purchase orders and record what arrived and when in the inventory system.Store materials so they are easy to locate and keep the warehouse clean labeled and organized.Pull kit and stage parts for upcoming projects service calls and pre-fabrication work.Record parts going out to jobs and returning from the field to maintain accurate inventory counts.Monitor stock levels and reorder points and identify materials that need to be ordered before shortages affect the pre-fabrication schedule.Perform regular cycle counts and help investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.Coordinate with project managers the pre-fabrication team and technicians regarding material requirements and schedules.Load and unload deliveries and occasionally deliver materials to local job sites using a company vehicle.Work with the pre-fabrication team when heavy or bulky materials need to be moved.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Ability to use a computer daily to enter receipts part numbers and quantities into an inventory system.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to identify inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate records.Self-directed work style and the ability to manage day-to-day warehouse priorities independently.Clear communication skills for coordinating with office and field teams.Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.Preferred QualificationsAt least one year of experience in a warehouse shipping and receiving parts counter supply house or stockroom role.Experience using inventory or purchasing software barcode scanners or spreadsheets.Familiarity with low-voltage security electrical or IT materials.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentWork in a warehouse environment while standing and moving for most of the day.Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds with assistance from the pre-fabrication team for heavier or bulkier items.Occasionally use ladders and step stools to access upper shelving.Spend part of each workday using a computer for receiving and inventory updates.Regularly load unload organize pull and stage warehouse materials.The wage for this role is 25 to 30 per hour based on experience and qualifications.As part of the DU Family of Companies we believe that empowering and investing in our employees as leaders develops an organization that delivers innovative solutions and services that create a superior customer experience.
