Our Slumberland Furniture location in Thief River Falls, MN is looking for dependable, hardworking Part-Time or Full-Time Warehouse & Delivery Associates to help deliver quality products-and exceptional experiences-to our customers.What You'll DoAs a Warehouse & Delivery Associate, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their furniture safely and on time while helping keep our warehouse and showroom running smoothly.Your responsibilities will include:Delivering furniture to customers' homes with professionalism and careSafely operating company delivery vehicles, including completing daily vehicle inspections and tracking mileage and fluid levelsLoading, unloading, receiving, and organizing merchandise in the warehouseMoving products throughout the warehouse and showroom using proper lifting techniques and powered equipmentAssisting with showroom setup and maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work environmentHelping with basic building and grounds maintenance as neededProviding friendly, respectful customer service during every deliveryEvery day, you'll help create a positive experience that leaves customers excited about their new furniture and confident they chose Slumberland.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and enjoys working as part of a team.Preferred qualifications include:Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record - This position requires driving our store truck Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Card for operating company delivery trucksAbility to frequently lift, carry, and move 75+ pounds High school diploma or GED preferred but not required Previous warehouse, delivery, or material handling experience is helpful, but we're happy to train motivated individualsSuccessful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including cannabisCompensation & Benefits: Starting pay for the position is $16 per hour. In addition to the hourly pay rate, part-time employees also recieve Paid-Time Off, Employee Purchase Discounts, and mayreach eligiblity for our 401K after meeting the hours worked requirement and waiting period.
