Description
The Warehouse Administrator serves as a key communication link between the warehouse, sales team, materials management, and external vendors. This role is responsible for documenting and resolving non-conforming issues, managing warehouse email requests, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will also be cross-trained to assist with receiving, slot locating, product put-away, and quality inspection as needed.
Document, communicate, and track all non-conforming issues, including shortages, overages, and discrepancies, to the sales team and materials management team.
Must work closely and communicate well with the receiving team on all non-conforming issues.
Initiate vendor claims for shortages, overages, and invalid purchase orders; follow up with appropriate parties until resolution.
Manage and respond to ATL warehouse email requests, including but not limited to:
Shipment tracking requests
Last-minute print ticket requests
Packing slip copy requests
Cross-train and provide backup support for receiving, slot locating, product put-away, and quality inspection functions when necessary.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all claims and communications.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Self-driven and self-motivated with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Dependable and committed to adhering to behavioral and attendance policies.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as business needs dictate.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
