As a WHEN<\/b>, you would work independently as part of the hospital coverage team<\/span><\/b>.
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide evening,
night, weekend, and holiday coverage<\/span><\/b> for inpatients.
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Serve as the on -site or on -call provider<\/span><\/b> for urgent medical issues
when the primary rehab physicians are off duty.
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Evaluate and treat acute medical concerns<\/span><\/b> (e.g., pain,
fever, hypertension, shortness of breath, mental status changes).
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Determine when a condition can be managed
on -site versus when transfer to acute
care<\/span><\/b> (hospital) is necessary
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Perform procedures within credentialed
privileges.
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide
advanced life support<\/span><\/b> as needed (ACLS certified).
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure documentation meets legal, regulatory, and billing standards<\/span><\/b>.
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Comply with hospital policies and procedures,
including infection control<\/span><\/b>,
and safety protocols<\/span><\/b>.
<\/p>
Must have an NP, PA, <\/span>MD, or DO degree.
<\/p>
