What You'll Do:

Oversees BRH efforts to improve access to health care and improve social determinants of health among the BRH patient population. Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the development, oversight, and effectiveness of administrative duties and clerical functions in order to streamline and support the day-to-day operations of the Outreach Department, Vulnerable Populations Health Clinic, and Patient Navigators.
  • Provides administrative direction and coordination of current and long-range policies, procedures and programs of the practice and/or service line(s).
  • Oversight of schedules, task assignments and allocation of manpower, space and equipment to ensure effective patient care, outreach services, and provide conformance with quality performance standards for efficient clinical service.
  • Works with clinic/practice provider teams to resolve patient flow problems as they occur.
  • Reviews all patient and customer complaints related to Veulnerable Populations teams and works with Chief Operations Officer/Director of Practice Operations to resolve complaints and clinic issues, as they occur. Involves others in complaint resolution, as needed.
  • Participates in providing direct services to patients or at outreach events when necessary.
  • Responsible for oversight human resources management of Outreach Staff and Clinic Support Staff (may include Clinical Support Staff, site coordinators, patient navigators, Community Health workers, Patient Access Representatives.
  • Responsible for oversight of financial budgets, targets, measures of all assigned departments and clinic locations.
  • Responsible for developing and coordinating programs and systems that address social determinants of health for vulnerable patient populations.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with BRH Quality Assurance, Compliance and Risk Management programs.

What We're Looking For:

Vulnerable Populations Manager:

  • Minimum 2 years' previous supervisory experience required
  • Experience working in an outpatient practice in a supervisory capacity, preferred
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Public Health or Health Care Administration or related field, required.
  • Clinical licensure or certification in applicable field preferred.
  • Equivalency: A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements

Director of Vulnerable Populations:

  • Minimum 3 years' previous supervisory experience required; 5+ years' experience preferred.
  • Experience working in an outpatient practice in a supervisory capacity, preferred
  • Education: Masters in Public Health or Health Care Administration or related field, required.
  • Clinical licensure or certification in applicable field preferred.
  • Equivalency: A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements
