You'll have the opportunity to care for a wide variety of patients and practice at the top of your license in an environment where your clinical expertise and decision-making skills are valued. Using the Nursing Process, you'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while meeting the physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and developmental needs of patients across the lifespan. You'll collaborate closely with providers, nursing leadership, and support staff to ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. About NVRH Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital is a 25-bed, independent, nonprofit Critical Access Hospital serving Vermont's historic Northeast Kingdom. NVRH provides primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and 24-hour physician-staffed emergency services. Our rural setting allows us to provide personalized, community-focused healthcare while offering employees an exceptional quality of life surrounded by some of New England's most beautiful landscapes. Important Information This is primarily an adult medical/surgical unit. Occasional pediatric patients may be admitted; this is not a dedicated pediatric unit. Pediatric-only RNs will not be considered. Flu vaccination is required with no exceptions. Due to our rural location, personal transportation is necessary. No public transportation is available, and the nearest major airport is approximately two hours away. Travel nurses are responsible for securing their own housing accommodations. While NVRH does not provide housing, our team is happy to share local housing resources and recommendations to assist with your search. All required credentials must be uploaded at least five business days prior to the start date to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
