Position Summary

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for operational strategy, performance oversight, and long-term operational sustainability of Valley Medical Group (VMG) and the Access & Navigation Center. Provides system-level leadership for ambulatory operations, centralized patient access, and the integration and alignment of ambulatory and acute care workflows across the organization. The VP establishes the operational vision, performance expectations, access strategy, workforce models, and financial framework that enable VMG to deliver high-quality, patient-centered, and financially sustainable care.

This position is On-Site - Paramus, NJ

Education

Bachelor's degree and Masters required (Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field) (MHA, MBA, MPH, or equivalent).

Experience

  • 8-12+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations.

  • Proven experience managing multi-specialty medical group operations.

  • Direct experience overseeing or partnering with centralized call centers or patient access teams.

  • Strong understanding of ambulatory healthcare operations, physician practice management, and healthcare regulations.

Skills

  • Strategic thinker with strong operational execution skills.

  • Data-driven decision maker with experience using performance metrics and dashboards

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and change management abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical leaders

  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience
