Senior Credit Analyst - Securitized Products / Structured Credit
A leading global alternative investment firm with ~$40B in AUM is looking to add a Senior Credit Analyst to its structured credit team. The platform combines investment management with deep connectivity across loan origination, servicing, and credit analytics, creating a differentiated edge in sourcing and underwriting opportunities. With a long-standing presence across residential, consumer, and asset-backed markets, the firm has built a reputation for navigating complex credit environments and generating consistent, risk-adjusted returns across market cycles.
The Role:
This role will play a key part in evaluating and executing investments across securitized products, with a focus on structuring, modeling, and relative value analysis. The individual will work closely with senior investors and portfolio managers, contributing directly to investment decisions across the capital structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and execute investments across securitized credit, spanning RMBS, ABS, and related asset classes
- Evaluate opportunities across both U.S. and European markets, with exposure to a wide range of collateral types
- Build and maintain detailed cash flow models using Intex and Excel
- Conduct deep fundamental underwriting, including collateral analysis and capital structure assessment
- Perform relative value analysis across sectors, tranches, and structures
- Partner closely with portfolio managers to support investment selection and portfolio construction
- Leverage rating agency research, methodologies, and market data to inform investment views
Experience & Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in securitized products investing, structuring, or valuations (buy-side, sell-side, or advisory)
- Strong background across RMBS and ABS (CRT, Non-QM, RPL/NPL, consumer ABS, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency with Intex (Dealmaker) and complex cash flow modeling
- Strong analytical and quantitative skillset, with attention to detail at the asset level
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, decision-oriented environment
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and contribute to broader investment strategy
Compensation & Location:
- Location: New York (full-time, in-office)
- Base Salary: $175,000 - $220,000
- Additional Compensation: performance bonus + potential deferred incentives
