Overview
A leading international bank is seeking a Senior Credit Manager to support its growing Structured Finance business in the United States. This role will serve as a key credit partner to origination teams, providing independent credit assessment, transaction review, and portfolio oversight across complex structured finance transactions.
The role has exposure to a broad range of asset classes, including project finance, infrastructure, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, specialist asset finance, and energy transition investments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct credit analysis and risk assessment for structured finance transactions and portfolio exposures
- Review and evaluate complex lending structures, highly leveraged counterparties, and specialized financing arrangements
- Partner with origination, relationship management, and portfolio teams to support transaction execution and ongoing portfolio management
- Provide guidance on credit appetite, policy compliance, and governance requirements
- Support underwriting, transaction approval, and credit sanctioning processes
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics impacting structured finance sectors
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Credit Risk experience in structured finance, project finance or infrastructure finance
- Strong understanding of credit underwriting, portfolio management, and complex lending structures
- Experience analyzing transactions involving infrastructure, power, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, or specialty finance assets
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
