What’sthe Role?
We areseekinga highly driven and hands-onProduct Engineering leader to drive our technology and innovation roadmap in Consumer Lending. This is a critical leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment and has a proventrack recordof deliveringlendingproducts from conception to market.You'llbe expected to hit the ground running, own theConsumer Lendinggrowth roadmap, and drive aggressive goals with speed and precision.
Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap within the Rate app ecosystemwithan initialfocus on home equity products with potential future expansion toadditionalproducts
Drive rapid product development and launch cycles in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
Lead hands-on product development, from ideation through implementation and market delivery
Work closely withtechnology platforms, including document integration, pricingplatformsand loan origination systems (LOS), with preference for Encompassexpertise
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including compliance, legal, secondary markets, engineering, and other product stakeholders
Develop innovative solutions to member engagement and loan demand in the Rate app
Ensure seamless integration oflendingproducts within our comprehensive financial services platform
Drive continuous improvement in product features, user experience, and operational efficiency
Make data-driven decisions tooptimizeproduct performance and customer satisfaction
Champion a culture of speed, innovation, and results-oriented execution
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of hands-on product management experience in the financial services industry
Proventrack recordof successfully launching(0 to 1)and scalingConsumer Lendingproducts end-to-end
Deep understanding ofConsumer Lending and Residential Lendingproducts, regulations, and market dynamics
Strong technical knowledge of mortgage technology stack, including:
Document integration systems
Loan Origination Systems (LOS), preferably Encompass
API integrations and financial services platforms
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with compliance, legal, and secondary market teams
Experience driving aggressive growth targets and delivering results in fast-paced environments
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Passion for financial technology and improving customer financial wellness
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree inComputer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience with digital lending platforms and mobile-first financial products
Knowledge of personal wellness integration in financial services
Track recordof building products in startup or high-growth environments
Experience with data analytics and A/B testing methodologies
