What You Will Do
- Lead and mentor a talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Drive the adoption of TypeScript across the development team, enhancing code quality and maintainability.
- Oversee the deployment and management of containerized applications using Docker, optimizing resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives and customer needs.
- Establish best practices for DevOps and SRE, improving operational efficiency and reducing downtime.
- Analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 7-12 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, specifically within infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE.
- Proven expertise in TypeScript and AWS, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture and services.
- Experience managing and scaling engineering teams, with a focus on mentorship and professional development.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Experience in the healthcare or fintech industries, understanding their unique challenges and opportunities.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to enhance deployment processes.
Compensation and Benefits
