    Job Description

    Organizational Details:

    CFM Materials LP is a joint venture of GE and Safran Aircraft Engines and is the worlds largest provider of used serviceable material and engines for the CFM product lines. We support companies worldwide through warehouses and sales offices near DFW Airport (TX, USA), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Cardiff (Wales), Hamburg (Germany) and Singapore. In addition to its core operation, the company also sells surplus inventories for CFM International and provides inventory for its parent companies MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) network around the world.

    Role Description:

    The VP of Global Operations leads and manages the following core functions: all company Operations, Technical team and processes, and Quality Management. The role reports directly to the President & CEO of CFM Materials. In this role, they will lead processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage issues within their functional area of expertise, be involved in operational projects, and contribute to the overall business strategy. They will be responsible for driving operational excellence, technical performance, and quality standards across the organization. This role bridges strategic planning with day-to-day execution, ensuring processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

    Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

    • Leads a staff of manager level leaders and multiple indirect reports across multiple global facilities.
    • Responsible for leading the logistics processes to ensure both inbound and outbound shipments are performed compliantly, accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Serves as a source of operations, technical and quality expertise regarding the verification of paperwork, aircraft engine component inspection and logistics processes in accordance with FAA regulations.
    • Inspires, motivates, and empowers people to deliver organizational goals, while also delivering value back to employees.
    • Proven track record of building, training, and developing high performing teams.
    • Drives the development of analytical tools and reports to effectively manage company performance KPIs across the organization as it relates to overall business goals
    • Manages and ensures all global warehouses are following CFM Materials standardized processes.
    • Collaborates with leadership to develop and implement plans based upon the CFM Materials goals, objectives, and KPIs.
    • Promotes a strong safety culture throughout the organization by championing internal safety team.
    • Responsible for overall compliance with FAA, ASA-100, AC 00-56, ISO 9001 and company quality requirements.
    • Performs other job duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    Candidate Education and Experience

    Required:

    • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in Aviation or Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field preferred
    • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in aviation, aerospace, MRO, aftermarket parts distribution, or related industry

    Desirable:

    • Advanced level in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
    • Experience with management enterprise software (ERP, SAP, Micro Strategies, Power BI, etc.)
    • Experience with CFM56 engines and used serviceable material strongly preferred
    • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, aviation traceability requirements, and release certification documentation.
    • Well organized, critical thinking, ability to analyze technical data and make technical decisions.
    • Experience working with jet engine technical documents and records.
    • Knowledge of the ISO9001/ASA-100 standards and general Quality methods and tools.

    Work Environment:

    This job operates in a professional office environment.

    Travel Specificity:

    May require 10-15% travel.

    This position manages staff of manager level leaders and multiple indirect reports across multiple facilities.
