Role: By emphasizing One Park, One Mission, One Team, the VP of Lending Production (Commercial/Mortgage) is responsible for leading a unified and strategic approach to loan production across commercial and mortgage lending. This role drives sustainable growth, strengthens pipeline development, and ensures a consistent, high-quality approach to generating lending opportunities that align with organizational goals. This position provides leadership to lending teams focused on origination and production performance - establishing clear expectations, building strong market relationships, and partnering across functions to support efficient execution, sound risk management, and a strong member and business experience. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

To provide friendly, professional and accurate service and support to all members and coworkers. 3. To achieve the budgeted loan production goals as measured by funded volume, pipeline strength, and portfolio expansion. 4. To ensure all originated loans meet established credit union policies, underwriting standards, and regulatory requirements, maintaining strong asset quality and risk alignment. 5. To develop and maintain a high-performing lending team, evidenced by achievement of production goals, engagement, and completion of performance reviews within established timelines. 6. To drive effective pipeline management and production discipline, as demonstrated by timely deal progression, conversion rates, and turnaround times across commercial and mortgage lending. 7. To maintain a strong market presence and referral network, resulting in sustained growth in qualified lending opportunities and strategic relationships within target markets. 8. To follow the credit union’s Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering policies and procedures, including running OFAC searches, completing investigative reports of suspicious activity and currency transaction reports timely and without error. 9. To maintain a professional work environment, promote teamwork, build respect among coworkers and present a businesslike appearance. 10. To follow all security policies and procedures and report discrepancies or suspicious activity to manager immediately. Knowledge and Skills: Experience Eight to ten years of similar or related experience. Education (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree). Interpersonal Skills Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others. Other Skills 1. Strong knowledge of commercial lending and working knowledge of mortgage lending products. 2. Proven ability to drive loan production through pipeline management and market development. 3. Strong leadership and people development skills, with the ability to build, coach, and motivate high-performing teams. 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into action.
