We are seeking an experienced and driven professional to join our team as a Permanent VP of Facilities and Construction. This individual will play a critical role in our Healthcare organization, overseeing all aspects of facilities management, construction, and capital planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring the operational efficiency and sustainability of our healthcare facilities. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing large-scale capital projects, real estate strategies, and infrastructure management in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of facilities and construction, including capital planning, capital projects, infrastructure management, and asset management.
2. Develop and implement strategic planning for facility planning, site selection, and real estate strategies.
3. Lead the lifecycle management of all facilities, ensuring the sustainability and operational efficiency of our healthcare infrastructure.
4. Drive the master planning process, aligning with organizational objectives and ensuring the effective use of resources.
5. Manage construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulations and standards.
6. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to align facilities and construction strategies with organizational goals.
7. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of our facilities and assets.
8. Evaluate and manage risks associated with facilities and construction, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all staff and patients.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or certification in a relevant field is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities and construction management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
3. Demonstrated experience in capital planning, capital projects, infrastructure management, and asset management.
4. Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects from conception to completion.
5. Strong knowledge of lifecycle management, master planning, strategic planning, facility planning, site selection, and real estate strategies.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional teams towards a common goal.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
8. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
9. Proficiency in relevant software and technology, including project management and facilities management systems.
10. Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards related to facilities and construction.
