THE WORK

What the role involves.

• Own delivery across the radio stack - PHY and low PHY, L2/L3, O-RAN RU/DU, digital front end and RF - and the AI-RAN work (neural receivers, ML scheduling, xApps) going into it.
• Set the engineering standards and system-level sign-off - link budget, timing, interoperability and real-time performance - across customer and IP programmes.
• Build and grow the radio and AI teams across the US and India, and develop the systems architects and leads under you.
• Own the split and the interfaces across RU, DU and CU, and stand in front of operators and RAN vendors on the hard calls.
• Own throughput, latency and conformance as outcomes, not aspirations.
