VP/General Manager

We are seeking an experienced executive leader to oversee all aspects of operations for a heavy civil construction contractor specializing in underground utilities and infrastructure projects. This individual will be responsible for driving operational performance, financial results, business development, and strategic growth while leading project management, estimating, field operations, and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction for all company operations and major construction projects.
• Oversee project execution, budgeting, scheduling, safety, and profitability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, municipalities, developers, and industry partners.
• Lead business development efforts and identify opportunities for continued growth.
• Mentor and manage department leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in heavy civil construction.
• Strong background in underground utility, site development, and public infrastructure projects.
• Proven success managing P&L, operations, and high-performing teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and business development skills.
