ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a senior equity research opportunity at a well-established global asset manager focused on high-quality growth stocks through a long-term, fundamental value-oriented investment philosophy. The role sits within a collaborative global research team spanning multiple time zones, offering broad sector coverage and direct partnership with portfolio managers on investment idea generation, portfolio monitoring, and risk-adjusted return enhancement. It's an ideal fit for a seasoned equity research professional with 15 20 years of experience who combines deep bottom-up analytical skills with strong financial modeling capabilities and a genuine passion for identifying and tracking high-quality growth companies across global markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct rigorous bottom-up equity research across assigned industries;develop and present compelling new investment ideas to portfolio managers and the broader global research team
Monitor current portfolio investments on an ongoing basis to enhance risk-adjusted returns;evaluate the impact of the latest news, earnings, and macro developments on underlying portfolio holdings
Build and maintain comprehensive company financial models including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts;perform detailed valuation analysis across coverage universe
Conduct on-site company visits, conference calls, and management meetings on a frequent basis to develop and maintain differentiated investment insights
Maintain proactive and frequent communication with portfolio managers on industries, stocks, and portfolio positioning
Collaborate effectively with a globally distributed team across different time zones
