    Job Description

Reporting to the SVP, Business Transformation, the VP of Business Systems is responsible for the strategic direction, governance, and control of Momentive Software's enterprise-wide business applications - 300+ tools representing approximately $35M in annual spend.

With a primary focus on Lead to Cash infrastructure, this leader partners closely with business stakeholders to streamline end-to-end process performance, owns the application rationalization roadmap, and establishes the governance structures that ensure disciplined investment and lifecycle management across the portfolio. This high-impact role combines operational consistency with strategic vision: the VP of Business Systems will drive vendor consolidation and cost optimization while enabling the company's adoption of agentic AI and intelligent automation, building the scalable, modern business capabilities that underpin Momentive Software's growth.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Partner with Lead to Cash stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of end-to-end process performance, measuring ease of use, total cost of operation, control effectiveness, cycle-time, and quality across the full Lead to Cash infrastructure
    • Maintain a comprehensive application inventory and architecture model that provides enterprise-wide visibility into the full portfolio, its integrations, and total cost of ownership across 300+ tools and ~$35M in annual spend
    • Define target-state architecture and own an iterative execution roadmap, prioritizing investments that deliver the greatest improvement in process performance and software cost reduction
    • Establish and operate an application governance model that keeps stakeholders informed, captures development needs, and enforces a formal intake and approval process for all major projects and new application requests
    • Partner with Finance and Procurement on all aspects of software spend -- negotiating favorable contract terms, consolidating vendor agreements, and ensuring accurate cost tracking, budgeting, and forecasting
    • Own the major supplier relationships and lead contract rationalization efforts that drive cost optimization and improved terms across the portfolio
    • Lead consolidation and standardization programs from initiation through delivery, coordinating internal teams and external partners with disciplined change management and clear executive communication
    • Define application ownership and establish lifecycle standards -- from intake through retirement -- ensuring every application in the portfolio has a named business owner, current lifecycle status, and defined support model
    • Identify high-impact agentic AI and automation use cases across the Lead to Cash landscape and lead implementation programs that deliver measurable improvements in process efficiency and business outcomes

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
    • 12-15+ years of progressive experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing or influencing cross-functional teams
    • Demonstrated experience managing large application portfolios ($20M+ annual spend) including vendor negotiation, contract management, and spend optimization
    • Deep experience with Lead to Cash systems and processes -- CRM (e.g., Salesforce), CPQ, billing/revenue recognition, and related integrations
    • Proven track record leading enterprise application rationalization, consolidation, or digital transformation programs
    • Experience establishing and operating application governance frameworks including intake, prioritization, and lifecycle management processes
    • Prior exposure to agentic AI, RPA, or intelligent automation - either identifying use cases or leading implementation programs
    • Strong executive presence with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business language for C-suite and board-level audiences
    • Excellent influencing, negotiating, and stakeholder management skills across business and technical functions
    • Experience partnering with Finance and Procurement on technology budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
