ABOUT THE ROLE This Vice President opportunity sits within the Americas Operational Resilience function of a well-established global financial institution, offering meaningful program ownership across Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, crisis management, and regulatory resilience initiatives. The role spans both strategic and operational resilience pillars supporting framework development and regulatory compliance on one side, and driving execution, testing coordination, and remediation tracking on the other. It's an ideal fit for a financial services risk or resilience professional with approximately 5 years of experience who is looking to deepen their exposure to enterprise-wide resilience programs, cross-functional stakeholder management, and regulatory-grade governance delivery within a complex, globally integrated organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Support a portfolio of Operational Resilience initiatives across Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, technology resilience, third-party resilience, and data resilience
- Develop and maintain core program deliverables including policies, procedures, standards, and playbooks supporting resilience capabilities across the Americas
- Build and manage remediation plans arising from testing, assessments, and regulatory reviews;oversee action tracking, escalation, and reporting to ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with business, technology, and corporate stakeholders to drive aligned execution across the Operational Resilience framework
- Support resilience testing and exercises including tabletops, BCP, DR, and scenario-based testing covering preparation, execution tracking, and follow-up remediation
- Prepare executive-ready materials for senior management and governance forums including status updates, dashboards, and regulatory submissions
- Contribute to the evolution of the Operational Resilience framework, standards, and governance practices in alignment with regulatory expectations
