GATEWAY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE 2026 - 2027 SCHOOL YEAR COACHING VACANCY: Central Valley High School Volleyball - Varsity Assistant Coach (Season begins in August, 2026) Salary: Based Stipend $3,350 - $5,360 Up to 60% longevity based on GTA Salary Schedule - Appendix H REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must meet the qualifications of the Gateway Unified School District. The school district will consider knowledge, competence, skill, experience and program leadership in hiring all coaching applicants. The applicant must possess: - 3-5 years of coaching experience - Strong Communication Skills - Valid CPR and First Aid Cards - NFHS Coaching Certificates: Concussion in Sports Heat Illness Prevention Sudden Cardiac Arrest Fundamentals of Coaching Applicant must submit a resume of all verifiable years of coaching experience. Application must be submitted online through the EdJoin website. For more information please contact the Human Resource Department at 530- 245-7900. PROCEDURE: The selection process will include an appraisal of individual applications and personal resumes. Candidates receiving the highest ratings will be selected for interview. (Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted).
