We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:Sports Coaches will assist and coach youth volleyball programs, including, but not limited to: leagues, developmental classes, after-school/home school programs, clinics, camps, private/semi-private training sessions, and birthday parties.The Sports Coach is responsible for coaching and developing athletes. This role involves designing and implementing training programs, providing instruction and feedback, and fostering a positive and competitive environment for athletes.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Teaching relevant skills, tactics, and techniques to a wide range of athletes, individuals and groupDevelop and implement structured training programs to enhance athletes' skills, fitness, and strategiesMonitoring, evaluating, and enhancing athlete performance and progressProviding suitable feedback via positivity, encouragement, example, and motivationDemonstrating an activity clearly by breaking down the task or technique into a sequencePromote discipline, respect, and sportsmanship in all team activitiesFriendly and courteous with athletes, parents, and facility team membersIdentifying athlete strengths and areas for developmentEnsuring a safe environment for all athletesStay updated with the latest coaching techniques, sports science, and industry best practicesAll additional duties assigned by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Coaching licenses (or active pursuit of) preferredAt least 2 years of appropriate coaching/teaching sport in youth programs for athletes of various aptitudesMust have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skillsMust be a team playerMust have excellent leadership and motivational skillsMust be willing to work a flexible schedule, predominately after-school and weekendsMust possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications, or willingness to obtain within a specified periodNeat in appearance and professional in mannerStrong knowledge of sports coach rules, techniques, and strategiesStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesPassion for sports and athlete developmentWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist highMust be able to move or lift lightweight equipmentPosition requires standing and activity for extended periods of time (indoors or outdoors), squatting, stooping, jogging, or bending into awkward positions while performing job functions
