What You'll Do:

Pull, route, and install low-voltage voice and data cabling throughout a large commercial facility.
Install and support cable tray, J-hooks, conduit pathways, and other cable support systems.
Assist with ground-up structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure installations.
Dress, organize, bundle, and secure cables within telecommunications rooms and racks.
Perform cable terminations at patch panels, racks, and equipment locations.
Label and identify cables according to project specifications.
Test and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling to ensure proper connectivity and performance.
Assist with rack installation, equipment mounting, and telecommunications room organization.
Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas.
Follow project specifications, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Work alongside project leadership and other technicians to meet project deadlines.

Who We're Looking For:

Experienced Voice & Data Technicians:

1+ years of commercial low-voltage or telecommunications experience preferred.
Strong experience with structured cabling installations.
Hands-on experience building out IDF/MDF telecommunications closets.
Ability to dress, bundle, organize, and manage large volumes of cabling.
Experience terminating copper cabling at patch panels and telecommunications racks.
Knowledge of cable testing, troubleshooting, and certification equipment.
Experience with cable tray installation and cable pathway systems.
Strong understanding of industry cabling practices and installation standards.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Entry-Level Helpers / Cable Pullers:

At least some construction or low-voltage experience preferred.

Comfortable pulling, routing, and handling large volumes of cable.
Ability to assist with cable tray installation and cable support systems.
Willingness to learn structured cabling and telecommunications installation.
Ability to follow directions and work effectively with experienced technicians.
Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.
