This organization supports a large-scale hybrid infrastructure environment and is investing heavily in next-generation virtualization and hyperconverged technologies. The environment is centered around VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Nutanix, Dell EMC VxRail, enterprise storage, and data center automation, making this an ideal opportunity for an engineer who wants to work with cutting-edge infrastructure technologies in a highly visible role.

Qualifications 

• 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise data center environments
• Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• Strong experience with Nutanix AHV and Prism
• Experience deploying and supporting Dell EMC VxRail environments
• Strong understanding of virtualization, storage, and compute infrastructure
• Experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
• Knowledge of enterprise networking concepts including VLANs, switching, and routing
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future

Responsibilities

• Job requires Administration & supporting VMware Infrastructure using VMware VSpher, ESXi, VXRail, VCF and other related components
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the Management and troubleshooting of the Virtualization environment
• Installing, configuring, upgrading, and managing VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, VXRAIL and vCenter Servers
• Creating and managing virtual machines (VMs), managing resource allocation, and troubleshooting performance issues
• Configuring and maintaining virtual networks (vSwitch, NSX) and storage (vSAN, SAN, NAS)
• Applying patches, updates, and upgrades to ESXi hosts, VXRAIL and vCenter
• Implementing security, such as Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC)
• Monitoring health system using tools like VROPs, SolarWinds
• Developing scripts using PowerShell/PowerCLI or Python to automate routine tasks
