This position is responsible for providing outstanding service and assistance to customers received in the Health Department's Vital Records Division. This primary function includes: (1) collection, balance, and processing of daily cash reports, (2) proper handling of all customer issues, (3) handling of phone calls, mail, email, etc. Incumbents of this position must deal successfully with the public, in person, and over the telephone, respond tactfully, clearly, concisely, and courteously to issues, concerns, and needs tactfully, clearly, concisely, and courteously to issues, concerns and needs. Current annual salary of $42,4 19.00 (Step 1) - $44,5 40.00 (Step 2) - $46,6 62.00 (Step 3) - $48,786. 00 (Step 4) - $50,904.00 (Step 5) - $53,0 29.00 (Step 6). The wage rate of a selected employee if promoted shall be equal to at least a step increase in the employee's current position, not to exceed $52,374.00 ( reference NAGE R I-200 C BA, A rticle 2 5.5 ).
