Conduct a food-access and economic-opportunity needs assessment Design and administer a needs-assessment tool Research evidence-based practices in food security and economic-opportunity programming Identify community stakeholders, food banks, and economic-opportunity partners across the region. Produce a written needs-assessment report Develop outreach materials Coordinate with University of Illinois Extension and Shawnee Community College staff to connect families with resources. Develop a resource-navigation guide connecting families to food banks, SNAP education, and economic-opportunity programs. Produce a written outreach toolkit for partner staff Research grant, donor, and in-kind funding opportunities; draft grant proposals or letters of inquiry with the Project Director. Facilitate introductions between partner sites, food banks, and potential funders. Develop a written sustainability plan documenting systems and partnerships for partner staff to carry forward.
