Position Summary

We are looking for an awesome Virtual Math Instructor / Tutor to create an engaging learning experience for students in elementary school. This opportunity presents the right candidate a unique role focused on helping the community and working with students, as well as a rich experience developing professional skills.

All applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency (dont worry, its not that hard) and pass a background check. Following hiring, the new team member is given the opportunity to complete training in the Mathnasium Method. This is a part-time role with set hours in a virtual platform. Seeking people to fill SPECIFIC HOURS 3:15-4:45pm Mondays and Thursdays, Additional hours available M-Th 5-7pm and Sat 10am-12pm.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional instruction/ tutoring services to students
• Teach virtually using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices which include individualized instruction in a group setting
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work
• Support kids to grow in skills and confidence, in every tutoring session

This is a remote position.

Compensation: $14.00 per hour
