All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and Palm Tree Crew brand standards.  Job Duties:Assisting VIP Server / Marketing Model with serving beverages and food to guestsTransporting trays and serving food and beverages in all nightclub areasMaintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with regulatory standardsResponsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards Responsible for the daily set up of the venue and service areas before the doors openResponsible for the daily breakdown of the venue and service areas as the venue closesAssist guests with requests, offering appropriate alternatives and seeking assistance when necessaryConsistently deliver exceptional service to every guest while interacting and entertaining in a professional mannerManage multiple tables and tasks in an efficient and proactive mannerRecognize and acknowledge when guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicatedAbility to initiate and maintain an upbeat and relaxed environment on a consistent basisEnsure daily/nightly opening and closing duties are completedAdhere to and enforce company specific safety and health department policies/procedures Report any incidents or violations to managementFollow all designated emergency proceduresAttend required trainingsAssist other departments as necessaryMarketing and promoting events both on property and on Social Media platforms Maintain social platforms as indicated by management and participate in marketing campaigns via social media Tasks include, but are not limited to:Maximize sales by using extensive working knowledge of all food and beverage offerings to recommend and upsell items.Ensure menu knowledge is always kept up to date in order to communicate effectively with guests on ingredients, preparation methods, and allergensFollow all Steps of Service and brand standardsCreate a hospitable, welcoming, and memorable experience for all guestsEnsure all Federal, State and City laws and ordinances are followed with regards to the handling and responsible sale of alcoholic beveragesProper handling of cash, credit cards and end of shift financial reportingServe all alcohol in proper containers and adhere to all pricingServe all food in proper containers and adhere to all pricingMaintain a clean and organized workspace including side stations, floors, shelves, and all storage areasEnsure that work areas are properly stocked for effective and timely serviceAttend trainings as mandated by the Leadership teamMaintain a well-groomed, professional, and polished appearanceKeep working knowledge of Chief's brand, history, culture, and programmingNavigate venue conditions, including tight spaces, dark rooms, and loud environmentEnsure all spaces are set according to floor plansExecute style of service called for by day/event (restaurant service, cocktail service, event service inclusive of passed hors d'oeuvres and/or banquet style, etc.)Perform other related duties as assigned by the Leadership team YOUR QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 21 years of ageMinimum of 1 year of service experience in a nightclub settingProven ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced restaurant or similar environment preferredExceptional guest service and hospitality skillsStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethicExcellent interpersonal skills; able to work both as a team and independentlyMust be able to work efficiently within a team environmentAbility to take direction, and communicate effectively and professionallyAbility to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidaysAbility to get Food Safety and TIPS certifiedMust have a valid TABC cardMust be able to communicate in English with guests and other team membersMust have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat and sunMust adhere to both company and department specific policies and proceduresEmbrace company culture and take pride in the venue and amenities  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time, kneeling, stooping, using stairs, able to lift loads of up to 50 lbs.Able to work rapidly, especially during peak periods to ensure that all guests are being serviced properly and necessary operational tasks are being completed in a timely mannerAbility to sustain loud noise volume WHO YOU AREWe are seeking a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced but disciplined environment.
