You will play a pivotal role in shaping and
executing Texas business strategy, expanding client relationships across state,
regional, and local public agencies, and leading high -performing,
multidisciplinary teams across transportation planning, traffic engineering,

Key
Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Lead
and execute Texas business strategy aligned with regional growth
objectives<\/span>
<\/li> - Drive
business development activities including pre -marketing, proposal
preparation, interviews, and contract negotiations<\/span>
<\/li> - Develop
and grow relationships with state, regional, and local public
transportation agencies across Texas<\/span>
<\/li> - Serve
as Project Manager or Principal -in -Charge on large, multidisciplinary
transportation and ITS projects<\/span>
<\/li> - Provide
technical leadership across areas such as:<\/span>
<\/li>- Traffic
engineering & transportation planning<\/span>
<\/li> - Signal
operations, timing & coordination<\/span>
<\/li> - ITS
planning, design & systems engineering<\/span>
<\/li> - Communications
networks & system integration<\/span>
<\/li> - Connected
& automated vehicles<\/span>
<\/li> - Tolling
systems<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul> - Support
technical project delivery and guide key engineering decisions on complex,
innovative mobility projects<\/span>
<\/li> - Represent
the business through direct client engagement, conference presentations,
and active participation in professional organizations<\/span>
<\/li> - Mentor
and lead senior business development, project management, and technical
professionals<\/span>
<\/li> - Identify
client needs and develop strategic plans to drive business capture and
retention<\/span>
<\/li> - Travel
locally and statewide as required<\/span>

Requirements<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Bachelor’s
Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Electrical
Engineering, or related field<\/span>
<\/li> - Professional
licensure preferred: PE, TE, PTOE, IMSA, and/or AICP<\/span>
<\/li> - 20+
years of experience in transportation planning, engineering, or ITS<\/span>
<\/li> - 15+
years in leadership roles, ideally leading multidisciplinary teams<\/span>
<\/li> - 15+
years of business development experience in Transportation Planning, ITS,
or Traffic Engineering/Operations<\/span>
<\/li> - 15+
years of experience working with and successfully capturing projects with
Texas state, regional, and/or local public agencies<\/span>
<\/li> - Demonstrated
success serving major public sector clients in Texas<\/span>
<\/li> - Strong
executive leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills<\/span>
<\/li> - Deep
understanding of Texas transportation market trends, regulatory
frameworks, and emerging mobility technologies<\/span>
<\/li> - Passion
for advancing the transportation industry<\/span>

Compensation<\/span><\/b>

Competitive base salary along with approx.
10 -15% STIP and a LTIP.<\/span>
