    ROLE SUMMARY

    The Vice President- Pricing, Value Capture & Vertical Integration will lead the development and execution of the company's enterprise pricing capabilities across multiple business units. This executive will be responsible for advancing pricing strategy, enabling scalable commercial processes, strengthening analytics capabilities, and supporting enterprise-wide profitability initiatives. This leader will partner closely with senior business, finance, operations, and technology stakeholders to drive adoption of modern pricing tools, improve pricing effectiveness, and support long-term commercial growth objectives. The role requires a combination of strategic leadership, operational execution, technical acumen, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

    • Senior Director, Deal Desk & Quote Governance
    • Senior Director, Pricing Technology & Analytics
    • Director, Pricing Science (optimization, elasticity, segmentation)
    • Pricing platform product owner / solution architect
    • Vertical integration leads supporting Building Products, Heritage, GMS, and Mingledorff's

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the enterprise pricing transformation roadmap and support implementation of scalable pricing capabilities across multiple business units.
    • Partner with business and technology leaders to enhance pricing tools, analytics, governance processes, and commercial decision support capabilities.
    • Drive adoption of enterprise pricing practices while balancing centralized standards with business-unit flexibility and customer needs.
    • Develop and lead pricing analytics and insights capabilities to support data-driven commercial decisions and profitability improvement.
    • Establish effective deal support and pricing governance processes that improve responsiveness, consistency, and commercial outcomes.
    • Partner with Finance and senior leadership to measure pricing performance, value realization, and business impact.
    • Lead organizational change management efforts related to pricing process improvement and technology adoption.
    • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing pricing, analytics, and commercial support teams.
    • Collaborate across commercial, finance, operations, and IT functions to support enterprise growth initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    • 12+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, commercial analytics, pricing technology, or related commercial leadership roles
    • Experience leading large-scale pricing transformation or commercial capability initiatives
    • Demonstrated success implementing enterprise pricing or commercial systems and driving organizational adoption
    • Experience leading analytics, pricing science, or quantitative teams
    • Background in B2B distribution, industrial, manufacturing, wholesale, or multi-site commercial environments preferred
    • Strong cross-functional leadership experience partnering with executive leadership, finance, operations, sales, and technology organizations
    • Excellent strategic, analytical, communication, and change leadership capabilities

    PREFERRED BACKGROUND

    • Experience in specialty distribution, building products, industrial distribution, or related sectors
    • Multi-business-unit or enterprise transformation experience
    • Combination of consulting and operating experience preferred
    • Advanced degree in business, economics, engineering, analytics, statistics, or related discipline preferred
