As Vice President Operations - Data Centers (DTC), you will lead the operational delivery of complex EPC and EPCM projects for hyperscale and enterprise data center clients. You will be responsible for strengthening project execution across safety, quality, cost, schedule, productivity, and reliability while supporting the delivery of high-performance, mission-critical infrastructure.

This is a senior construction and project delivery leadership role requiring extensive experience in the execution of large-scale capital projects. You will provide operational direction across preconstruction, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness, with particular focus on electrical and mechanical infrastructure, power, cooling, redundancy, constructability, and fast-track delivery.

Working closely with Engineering, Commissioning, Project Management, Commercial, and Preconstruction, you will establish consistent delivery standards, improve project predictability, and ensure the operational readiness required to execute complex projects at scale.

Operational Leadership & Performance

• Lead operational performance across all data center projects and field execution activities
• Ensure delivery across safety, quality, schedule, cost, and productivity metrics
• Drive standardized operating models, KPIs, and performance governance across projects
• Monitor execution performance and implement corrective actions to achieve targets

Execution Excellence in Mission-Critical Environments

• Oversee project execution across the full lifecycle with focus on reliability and uptime requirements
• Ensure delivery of high-performance electrical, mechanical, and critical infrastructure systems
• Drive consistency in construction and installation of mission-critical systems (power, cooling, redundancy)
• Support seamless transition from construction through commissioning and operational readiness

Preconstruction & Operational Planning

• Partner with commercial and preconstruction teams on bid strategy and execution planning
• Provide operational input into constructability, phasing, and fast-track delivery approaches
• Ensure operational readiness to support aggressive schedules and phased turnovers
• Enhance competitiveness through optimized delivery strategies and execution planning

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on speed-to-market, cost efficiency, and execution quality
• Implement standardization, modularization, and prefabrication strategies where applicable
• Reduce rework and improve schedule predictability across projects
• Strengthen operational scalability to meet growing data center demand

People Leadership & Capability Development

• Build and lead high-performing operations and field leadership teams
• Develop specialized capabilities in mission-critical construction and systems delivery
• Drive workforce planning, talent development, and succession strategies
• Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and execution excellence

Safety, Quality & Organizational Alignment

• Champion a strong safety culture aligned with Incident-Free Workplace principles
• Ensure adherence to strict quality standards and performance expectations for mission-critical environments
• Promote alignment with company strategy, operational priorities, and delivery objectives
• Act as a visible leader reinforcing a culture of performance, reliability, and discipline

Show your expertise

Extensive EPC/EPCM and construction leadership experience, with 15+ years in the execution of large-scale, technically complex capital projects within data center or other mission-critical environments.

Proven project delivery track record within engineering, construction, general contracting, design-build, or project delivery organizations, including experience with hyperscale or enterprise data center projects.

Deep understanding of mission-critical construction, including electrical and mechanical infrastructure, power, cooling, redundancy systems, construction sequencing, constructability, commissioning, and operational readiness.

Demonstrated success in fast-track project environments, with the ability to improve schedule performance, speed-to-market, execution reliability, productivity, and delivery consistency across complex project portfolios.

Experienced operational and people leader with the ability to lead multidisciplinary and multi-site teams, implement standardized delivery models, build scalable operations, and collaborate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

Relevant academic and professional qualifications, including a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant construction, safety, or project management certifications are an advantage. Frequent travel to active project sites is required.
