Vice President of Workers’ Compensation Claims – Captive (Remote)

Location: Fully Remote (Eastern Time Zone Schedule)
Salary: Up to $225,000 (based on experience)
Travel: Less than 5%

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Workers’ Compensation Claims – Captive to lead and scale a high-performing claims operation. This is a key leadership role for a driven professional with a strong background in Workers’ Compensation, TPA oversight, and operating in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

This role is ideal for candidates currently at the Director, AVP, or VP level who are ready to make a significant impact within a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for Workers’ Compensation claims operations
• Oversee and manage Third-Party Administrator (TPA) relationships to ensure optimal performance and outcomes
• Drive operational excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement across claims processes
• Monitor claim trends, analytics, and financial performance to inform decision-making
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and jurisdictional requirements
• Develop and mentor leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, risk, and executive leadership teams

Qualifications

Required:

• Extensive experience in Workers’ Compensation claims
• Strong background with TPAs
• Proven leadership experience at the Director, AVP, or VP level
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume claims environments
• Preferred: Experience within a Captive insurance environment
