Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, design, coordination, and execution of transportation infrastructure projects.
- Ensure project completion within scope, budget, and schedule while exceeding client expectations.
- Manage staff performance, training, and career development.
- Drive business development efforts, securing new contracts and maintaining client relationships.
- Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Maintain high-quality standards for engineering deliverables.
- Oversee financial performance, project invoicing, and department profitability.
What We're Looking For:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri required, (Illinois PE a plus).
- 12+ years of experience in complex transportation projects.
- 3+ years of management experience leading engineering teams.
- Proficiency in MicroStation, ORD, AutoCAD, and basic surveying technology.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage contracts, resolve disputes, and oversee project proposals.
Educational & Physical Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering (Master's degree a plus).
- Ability to travel to project sites and perform essential physical duties.
