This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior tax leader looking to step into a highly visible role with significant influence over tax strategy, growth initiatives, and the continued evolution of the organization's tax function.
Description:
Oversee federal, state, and local income, franchise, gross receipts, sales and use, property, and other tax compliance across the Company's operating footprint.
Lead quarterly and annual income tax provision processes under ASC 740, including deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances, and disclosures, as applicable.
Lead tax planning and due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, recapitalizations, and strategic investments.
Own the tax incentives and economic development strategy
Evaluate the tax implications of debt financings, refinancings, capital raises, fund and ownership structures, tax distributions, withholding, and cash movement.
Requirements:
CPA
Proven Director or VP level experience
Big 4 experience is a plus
Strong federal and multi-state tax expertise
Big preference for leadership experience and expertise in real estate, development, construction, or similarly capital-intensive organizations
Compensation/Benefits:
Base up to $265,000 (plus bonus and LTIP potential)
Hybrid schedule (work from home flexibility)
