An exciting new leadership opportunity awaits. As the newly created Vice President of Operations, you will have the unique opportunity to build, lead, and shape the future of healthcare at Penn Highlands Huntingdon.

The Position

  • The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing all administrative and operational activities at Penn Highlands Huntingdon, ensuring the delivery of efficient, high-quality healthcare services.
  • Reporting to the Regional Market President, this leader will oversee a team of seven direct reports and approximately 310 FTEs.
  • Key responsibilities include driving volume growth across all service lines, maximizing operational performance, strengthening community engagement, and reinforcing the value of Penn Highlands Healthcare's integrated health system. This leader will help elevate the hospital's reputation, increase awareness of available services, and foster community confidence in the benefits of being part of a larger, connected healthcare network.
  • The ideal candidate will be a strategic, relationship-driven healthcare executive with strong business acumen and a proven ability to improve operational and financial performance. This leader will be self-motivated, accountable, and thrive in a high-expectation environment while building strong relationships throughout the organization and the community.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Health or Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive community hospital operations leadership experience required.
