Every clinical decision, every claim, and every quality measure at West Central depends on information being accurate, secure, and available to the right person at the right time. We're looking for a leader to own that.
West Central Behavioral Health is a CCBHC-designated community mental health center serving the Upper Valley and Sullivan County. Last year our staff served nearly 2,700 children, adolescents, and adults across four sites. We're growing, our regulatory environment is getting more complex, and our data needs to do more than satisfy auditors. It needs to drive how we care for people and how we run the agency.
The role
This is a senior leadership position with agency-wide reach. You'll oversee health information management, EHR administration, and facility technology infrastructure, and you'll lead two directors: our Director of Information Technologies and our Director of Quality Improvement and Compliance. You'll also be a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on health information governance, regulatory risk, and data strategy.
In practice, you will:
If you've wanted a seat at the table where data strategy shapes organizational decisions, this is that seat.
What you bring
It's a plus if you have RHIA or RHIT certification, CCBHC or FQHC experience, PCMH familiarity, knowledge of He-M regulations, background with DHHS-contracted organizations, behavioral health coding experience (ICD-10, CPT, DSM-5), or a project management credential such as Lean Six Sigma or PMP.
We offer a generous benefit package. It includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 403(b) with employer match, and life, short- and long-term disability, critical illness, accident, and pet insurance. You'll also get tuition reimbursement, local discounts, paid holidays, and paid time off.
We're also flexible about how work gets done. Ask us about creative schedules, remote and hybrid arrangements, geographic options, and cross-functional work.
We invest in our people through e-Learning and in-service programs led by internal and external presenters, and most in-service programs offer CEUs.
As a nonprofit serving underserved populations, you may also be eligible for loan assistance:
For over forty years, West Central has worked to "promote, preserve and strengthen the mental health and quality of life in our community." Come help us build the information backbone that makes that work possible.
