Vice President of Finance / CFO - Commercial Construction

A respected, well-established commercial builder in Dallas is looking for a Vice President of Finance / CFO to lead its financial operations. This is a senior leadership seat working directly with the executive team, with real influence on how the company plans, grows, and invests in its people.

What You'll Do

• Lead all accounting, finance, treasury, and reporting functions for the company
• Partner with ownership and operations leaders on strategy, budgeting, and forecasting
• Oversee job cost accounting, project financial reporting, and cash flow management
• Manage banking, bonding, surety, insurance, and audit relationships
• Build and develop a strong accounting and finance team
• Strengthen financial controls, systems, and processes as the company grows

What You Bring

• 6+ years as a VP of Finance, CFO, or similar senior finance leader with a general contractor
• Deep knowledge of construction accounting, percentage-of-completion revenue, and job costing
• Experience with bonding, surety, and lender relationships
• Experience with an employee-owned (ESOP) company is a plus
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• A steady, collaborative leadership style and clear communication with executives and project teams
