Job Title: Vice President of Finance & Administration
Department: Executive Team
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
Role Location: Seattle, WA
Compensation Rate: $240K-$260K Annually
About the Position
The Vice President of Finance & Administration is a transformational finance leader who can operate at both ends of the spectrum architecting long-term financial strategy for a complex, multi-entity organization while also ensuring the fundamentals are executed flawlessly. This is not a role for someone who only thinks at the 30,000-foot level, nor for someone who only manages the details. We need both.
Reporting to the CFO, this role is responsible for fundamentally strengthening how EGNWs finance function works by standardizing and rebuilding financial processes to be scalable, auditable, and automation-ready. As the organization increasingly leverages AI and technology to streamline operations, this VP will be the architect of a finance infrastructure built for the future: clean, consistent processes; smart systems; and a team that spends less time on manual work and more time on meaningful insight.
EGNW operates across multiple legal entities and a growing, complex organizational structure. The VP must be capable of managing the financial complexity that comes with that - intercompany accounting, entity-level reporting, consolidated financials, and the strategic thinking to understand how the structure itself can be optimized over time. At the same time, this person owns the day-to-day: the bills get paid, the books close on time, and develops the team's capabilities to support a growing and increasingly complex organization

Who We Are Looking For
You are a finance leader who is energized by change, not intimidated by it. You have walked into organizations where the processes were held together by spreadsheets and institutional knowledge, and you have left them with something better - documented, standardized, and running on modern systems. You understand that the future of finance is automated, and you know how to get a team and an organization ready for it.
You think in systems and structures. Multi-entity complexity doesnt faze you - you can hold the consolidated picture in your head while staying sharp on the details of each entity. You are equally comfortable building a five-year financial model and making sure the AP run went out on time. You dont see those as different jobs - you see them as two ends of the same responsibility.
You are a builder and an operator. You set direction, earn trust quickly, communicate with clarity, and follow through. You believe that a well-run finance function is one of the most powerful tools a mission-driven organization has - and you take that seriously.
