Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the strategic planning, prioritization, and execution of the Company's long-term capital investment strategies that support enterprise growth objectives through partnerships and alignment with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Technology, and Real Estate teams.
  • Provide executive oversight for all phases of project delivery, including site selection support, due diligence, feasibility analysis, budgeting, design, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain governance processes, project controls, and performance metrics to ensure consistent execution across all capital projects.
  • Direct internal project management teams and external consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, and construction management firms.
  • Establish and maintain corporate standards related to project management, construction quality, design, sustainability, safety, and cost management.
  • Lead annual and multi-year capital planning processes, including project prioritization, business case development, and financial forecasting.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned 
Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
  • 15 plus years of related experience
  • Project management experience, overseeing major building design and construction.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding project management principles and general construction best practices including OSHA requirements, building codes, environmental compliance.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent supervisory skills including team leadership and development.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required (up to 20%).
  • Proficient in process improvement methodologies to enhance operational performance.

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Master’s Degree, Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management; or, MBA

  • Foodservice, Processing, and Distribution experience.

  • Design-Build Project Management on greenfield projects over $20M.
