100% Remote

 

The Vice President of Marketing and External Engagement is responsible for driving marketing execution across multiple areas, ranging from sales and growth enablement to digital experience and online reputation to public relations and external engagement. Additionally, this role will oversee engagement with the Board on a variety of strategic topics.

Responsibilities:

What you’ll do…

Sales & Growth Enablement 

  • Develop strategic, volume-driving collateral to support facility, Business Development, and Managed Care teams. 
  • Lead Search Engine Optimization strategy and execution across all service lines. 
  • Lead AI-driven transformation of content and design functions to improve efficiency and effectiveness across marketing deliverables. 
  • Produce Acadia’s outcomes report and integrate data into marketing materials and other applications.

Digital Experience & Online Reputation 

  • Serve as product owner for Acadia’s website and digital reputation. 
  • Lead social media strategy and execution for all Acadia facilities.  
  • Oversee website rebuilds and enhancements to ensure compliance, accuracy, and optimized design/content. 
  • Drive conversion rate improvements through landing page optimization. 
  • Lead reputation management efforts, including oversight of online reviews and implementation of centralized management tools.

Public Relations & External Communications 

  • Provide executive sponsorship for high-priority communications and coordinate responses. 
  • Manage inbound media requests and ensure timely, thoughtful responses. 
  • Build proactive relationships with key media outlets to strengthen Acadia’s reputation and visibility. 

Board Engagement 

  • Develop annual content plans for Acadia’s four principal Board meetings 
  • Coordinate delivery of high-quality Board and Quality & Compliance Committee meetings, ensuring exceptional content and process management.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively to person(s) receiving services and their family members, guests and other members of the health care team.

  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members. 
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.  
Qualifications:

Minimum

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 

 

  • 10+ years’ experience senior marketing leadership roles, preferably within healthcare or behavioral health sectors. 
  • Expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and reputation management. 
  • Strong understanding of AI applications in marketing and design. 
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Master’s degree in Marketing or Business preferred.
