Description
Kforce's client, a global financial services firm in NYC, is seeking a Vice President of Internal Audit to lead audits of the Fixed Income trading business. This individual will lead risk-based audit activities across trading and related control functions, with a particular focus on market, valuation, operational, and regulatory risk. The role is 4 days in the office & 1 day remote. This firm offer excellent opportunities for advancement within audit or within the business, along with fantastic benefits & annual bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead risk-based audits covering Fixed Income trading and related functions
- Assess the effectiveness of controls across the trade lifecycle
- Evaluate valuation, financial, operational, and regulatory risks
- Identify emerging risks and incorporate them into audit planning
- Manage audit engagements including planning, testing, findings, reporting, and follow-up
- Communicate audit observations and risk implications to senior stakeholders
- Partner with business, risk, and control functions across the organization
- Use data and risk indicators to identify areas requiring additional review
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the audit team
Requirements:
- CIA, CPA, CFA, SIE, CIDA, CAIA or other relevant certification preferred
- 6+ years of internal audit experience out of financial services focused on auditing fixed income trading businesses
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products and markets
- Understanding of the end-to-end trading lifecycle and related controls
- Experience with internal audit methodology and risk assessment
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with senior business and risk stakeholders
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
